About Us

Just a little write up about us and our family. Our names are John and Peta we have a beautiful daughter of Six years old, who helps us socialize our dogs in such a way only a child can!

We live in North Devon which is a wonderful part of the United Kingdom, full of rolling hills and lots of fresh air. We are very accessible and easy to find, which makes a change for the country.

John and I have a very animal orientated background. His parents bred dogs when he was a young child and then went onto cats due to illness. My family have had gundogs since before my Nan can remember!

I have got my Btec Diploma in Animal Care, NVQ 3 in Equine Studies and
numerous years of working with animals large and small, some have even managed to master the English language!

Our dogs live indoors with us, never kenneled as they are first and foremost beloved family pets. They are NEVER left alone for more than 2 hours at once as we just believe it to be unfair. Our dogs come with me to work every day and enjoy running around the stables and fields like complete loons. Even though they have never been 'Worked' I can still see the natural instincts in them all and what enjoyment they get out of their lives with us.

We have made so many new friends along the way and built up such a good rapport with many Cocker Spaniel breeders and owners alike. Even if I do say so myself we have achieved so much in such a relatively small space of time.

Even now people are starting to see what we have achieved and are entrusting me to handle their dogs in the Show ring on their behalf. All I can say is it is ALWAYS privilege!
